B&B La Dimora – Appartamenti e Camere in Centro nasce dal desiderio di Sascia e Romina di offrire un’accoglienza autentica, confortevole e familiare nel cuore di Gissi, a pochi passi dal corso principale e da tutti i servizi essenziali.

Gissi è un affascinante borgo collinare dell’entroterra abruzzese, situato a circa 20 km dal mare e a breve distanza dalle montagne. A poca strada si trovano la celebre Costa dei Trabocchi e le riserve naturali di Vasto, ideali per chi ama natura e avventura.

Il paese, ricco di storia e tradizione, deve il suo nome al “gesso”, pietra bianca e porosa con cui sono stati costruiti molti edifici del centro storico. Passeggiando tra i vicoli medievali si respira un’atmosfera d’altri tempi, arricchita da pinete, aree verdi attrezzate per il fitness all’aperto, parchi giochi per bambini e scorci suggestivi.

Dal Belvedere della Chiesa Maggiore si gode una vista straordinaria: lo sguardo spazia dal mare alle montagne, fino alle Isole Tremiti nelle giornate più limpide.

Gissi is a charming hilltop village in the Abruzzo hinterland, located about 20 km from the sea and just a short drive from the mountains. Nearby, you’ll find the famous Trabocchi Coast and the nature reserves of Vasto – perfect destinations for nature and adventure lovers.

The town, rich in history and tradition, owes its name to “gypsum,” the white, porous stone used to build many of the historic center’s buildings. Strolling through the medieval alleys, you’ll breathe in a timeless atmosphere, enhanced by pine forests, green areas equipped for outdoor fitness, playgrounds for children, and charming scenic views.

From the panoramic terrace of the Chiesa Maggiore, you can enjoy an extraordinary view: your gaze stretches from the sea to the mountains, reaching as far as the Tremiti Islands on the clearest days.
